Rushi Manche

Rushi Manche co-founded a blockchain technology company that introduced the first modular blockchain network designed to unite performance, liquidity, and composability. In his early twenties, he and his partner decided to leave their internships and withdraw from Vanderbilt University to dedicate themselves fully to this venture. Their early efforts resulted in raising $3.4 million in pre-seed funding from over 25 angel investors. With this support, they expanded their team to over 70 members.

In 2023, just a year after the company’s formation, they closed a $38 million Series A funding round. The participation of leading venture capital firms, including Hack VC, Placeholder, Archetype, Maven 11, Robot Ventures, Figment Capital, Nomad Capital, Bankless Ventures, OKX Ventures, dao5, and Aptos Labs, was a clear indication of the confidence in their work and the potential of the technology they had built. His contributions helped shape a system that emphasized developer usability and multi-chain compatibility.

Rushi Manche presented a vision for a blockchain ecosystem that facilitates the development of secure applications, making it easier and safer for developers to work. The platform’s architecture allows for applications to interact across networks without the common risks associated with hacking or incompatibility. He believed blockchain programming was a more secure and modern language for today’s digital systems, offering improvements over traditional infrastructure.

The modular design used in the network separates tasks into layers, each performing specific functions independently. This design enables greater flexibility, scalability, and reliability. By applying a specialized programming language developed by a major tech company, he helped create a faster and more secure Ethereum layer-2 solution. This upgrade offered a strong response to the recurring security issues that affect blockchain systems. A token was also launched to support the company’s ecosystem.

Before founding the company, he worked as a Software Engineer at Aptos Project, where he contributed to the development of decentralized exchanges and cross-chain index funds. He also founded Ensemble, an AI-based test preparation service that provided free educational resources to students through partnerships with 53 high schools.

He spent time at UnitedHealth Group, where he migrated APIs to AWS cloud services and helped reduce costs by 84%. He also improved backend systems and implemented scalable features. As a freelance Full Stack Developer, he upgraded a cloud-based platform by replacing outdated systems with modern frameworks and integrating cloud tools.

He earned a Seal of Biliteracy in French and completed multiple online certifications in areas such as blockchain, machine learning, and programming. These courses were taken through Udemy and included both technical and applied subjects.

He has received several awards and recognitions throughout his academic and early professional journey. These include the Ingram Scholarship at Vanderbilt University in 2021, the Burger King McLamore Scholarship, and being named a semifinalist for the Elks National Foundation and Coca-Cola Scholarships. He also earned the National AP Scholar title.

Additional accolades include recognition from the Young Investors Society, a top-three-percent finish in the Diamond Challenge Entrepreneurship Competition, the 2020 New Jersey State Governor’s Jefferson Award for public service, and a finalist position in the Seton Hall Pirates Pitch Business Plan Competition.

He and his family have supported charitable healthcare initiatives in India for over a decade. During high school, he volunteered with several nonprofit organizations, including UNICEF and the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program.
